Individual therapy provides a confidential, supportive space to explore the underlying issues that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and recurring unhealthy patterns. Men's counseling helps identify the beliefs, experiences, and behaviors that can lead to poor decision-making, emotional disconnection, or feeling stuck, while building practical tools for personal growth, emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and lasting positive change. Whether you're navigating career pressures, family responsibilities, life transitions, or mental health concerns, therapy can help you gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose.

Performance Therapy for Athletes, Artists, and High Performers in Redondo Beach, CA

Success often brings unique pressures. Athletes, artists, performers, executives, entrepreneurs, and other high achievers frequently face performance anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, burnout, and the challenge of maintaining confidence under pressure. EMDR therapy helps individuals process experiences that may be limiting performance, confidence, creativity, and emotional well-being.

EMDR can be particularly effective for performance blocks, injury recovery, the yips, fear of failure, imposter syndrome, and traumatic experiences that continue to affect focus and performance. By helping the brain process unresolved experiences, EMDR allows high performers to access greater resilience, confidence, and mental flexibility. Whether you're seeking to overcome a setback, return from injury, break through a creative block, or perform at your highest level, EMDR therapy can help you move forward with greater freedom and confidence.

My Approach

I believe your time is one of your most valuable resources. When you choose to spend an hour in therapy, it should be meaningful. That’s why I approach each session as an opportunity for insight, growth, healing, and a deeper understanding of yourself.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped not only by professional training and ongoing education, but also by life experience. I’m a husband, father, entrepreneur, and former corporate professional. Along the way, I’ve experienced many of the same challenges my clients face—including the pressures of demanding careers, burnout, parenting, relationship struggles, grief and loss, adoption, chronic illness, and neurodivergence. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how complex life can be and how important it is to have support during difficult seasons.

As a therapist, I am warm, curious, collaborative, and direct. I value authenticity and believe that meaningful change happens when there is both genuine connection and honest conversation. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, challenged when needed, and supported as you work toward the life you want to live.

My approach integrates meaning-centered therapy with evidence-based somatic modalities, including EMDR and Polyvagal-informed interventions. I help clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous systems, creating opportunities for lasting growth and healing.

Outside of my work, I value time with my family, meaningful conversations, lifelong learning, and finding moments of connection and purpose in everyday life.

Life can feel overwhelming in one season and full of possibility in the next. Wherever you find yourself today, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and intention. I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

About Me

After a 20-year career in corporate construction management working with Fortune 500 companies, I found myself asking a question that many people face at some point in life: “Is this the work I want to spend the rest of my life doing?” Through my own experience in therapy, I discovered a desire for work that felt more meaningful, purposeful, and connected to helping others. That journey ultimately led me to become a therapist.

When not pursuing therapy I am just a regular guy in my 40’s who has made the southbay home his whole life.  When not spending time with wife and children is obsessed with the fun, frustration and friendships of golf, sneaking in trips to relax in the mtns, and insisting he still ride a skateboard, snowboard and surfboard like he is 18 and overjoyed with the opptunity to help others with their journey.
